When we reviewed the Nexus 7, our main complaint was the lack of a 3G option. But we may get our wish yet, as rumors that Asus is manufacturing a 3G-capable Nexus 7 tablet, started by a purported insider report published at MoDaCo, began circling earlier this week.

According to MoDaCo's "very well placed insider," Google's even-more-mobile 7" tablet will launch in 6 weeks. No information on pricing or which territories the 3G version will support has been reported.

Again, this is still a rumor; but it's one we'd really like to see come true. While expanded storage options would be awesome, MoDaco's source says there will be "no other hardware changes" beyond the 3G upgrade.

Would a 3G Nexus 7 make you a believer? Let us know in the comments.
