Doctor Who will return to TV screens on Saturday, 1st September 2012.
According to the Radio Times, Asylum of the Daleks, the first episode of the seventh series, will premiere in the UK on BBC One at 7:20pm. Across the Atlantic, the episode will be shown on BBC America the same day at 9:00pm ET.
Series seven is being split into two halves. The first five episodes will run weekly, meaning the first half of series will come to an end on September 29th. This will be followed by a Christmas special, before the remaining episodes air in the spring of 2013.
