Lionsgate has officially announced that British actor Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Snow White and the Huntsman) has been cast as Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The charismatic and clever Finnick was a District 4 Hunger Games victor when he was fourteen. Other actors linked with the highly coveted role include Robert Pattinson, Garrett Hedlund, Armie Hammer and Taylor Kitsch.
Catching Fire opens November 22, 2013.
